Incredibly cool, unique, fun, and rare opportunity to create an amazing artwork that you can be proud of! This workshop coincides with the weekly Ft. Lauderdale Art, Food, and Flea which takes place every Sunday in the FTL's hottest new area, District 13!
A year and a half ago, artist Joshua Tiktin came up with a new concept, which is to paint an image of a turntable onto canvas and attach a painted vinyl record onto it which actually spins! The records can quickly be changed out on the canvas, so the artwork can be modified whenever the owner desires. Therefore, the art is interactive and interchangeable!
Since the project has been very successful (as documented on Instagram, see link below) Tiktin has decided to share his process with the public and offer them the opportunity to make one of their own.
Also, with the support of the Broward County Cultural Division and the Community Foundation of Broward via grants, Tiktin is able to offer this workshop for only $10 (which is less than the cost of the materials)! However, space is limited to 20 per date, so reserve your spot ASAP by ordering below!
